Tè ak San: A solo exhibition by Krystal Jolicoeur

When: Fri., May 2, 6-9 p.m. 2014
Email: krystaljolicoeur@gmail.com
Tè ak San, or Soil and Blood, introduces Kansas City to the work of mixed-media artist, Krystal Jolicoeur. Krystals work is an exploration of the processes of transformation, rejuvenation and decay. Focusing upon soil and mixed media, Jolicoeur presents her latest series entitled Tè ak San. "Soil gives life, nurtures , and erases existence. Soil from anywhere on the planet allows us to recognize our universal fate. We are bound by blood to its constraints and freedoms." Using soil as her primary medium, Jolicoeur creates sculptures and installations that resound with her response to the inevitabilities of life.
