Thanks to the magic of animatronics, dinosaurs still roam the Earth in Wyandotte County. OK, maybe they dont exactly roam, but the twitchy, rubbery creatures do roar, growl, caw and rumble in the metros noisiest dining room. For children, this restaurant is nirvana: Eating takes second place to the special effects (theres a meteor storm every 30 minutes), and the menu is loaded with dishes whose names were probably culled from the Fred Flintstone dictionary. Some of them are very tasty Sebastians Steak & Shrimp, a Reuben sandwich, the Chocolate Extinction dessert and others are ridiculously bland. But this venue is all about the show (and the gift shop). — Charles Ferruzza
