After a few beers, it would be easy to overindulge at Tanner's Bar and Grill, which opened in Lenexa in 1985 and now has nine locations across the metro and in Omaha. The smell of mayonnaise and fried dough hits you before you even walk in the door, and in addition to daily dinner specials, signature dishes such as "chicken lips," "booga mania" burgers, and "Tanner's famous lots-o-nachos" are available for cheap (and are big enough to share). Daily drink specials include Boulevard pints, margaritas and imports. Televisions line the walls and are suspended from the ceiling, so there is no bad place in the house for catching a game (especially for Chiefs and Pitt State fans). Weekly events include trivia and bingo, and the game room is packed with arcade favorites and a pool table.
