This visually impressive steakhouse is part of a fast-growing chain of restaurants owned by media mogul and bison rancher Ted Turner and restaurant mogul George McKerrow, who created the LongHorn steak joints. The impressive Arts and Crafts interior design suggests that the venue is more upscale than it is; its basically a glorified (nonsmoking) saloon that offers reasonably priced bison and beef steaks, chili, burgers, chicken and meatloaf. The bison dishes are better than the steaks, and the side dishes need some tinkering, but its comfort food with soothing prices. — Charles Ferruzza
