Teenage Gallery

The artists of Eclectics Gallery (7015 Oak, 816-361-6643) don't want gifts of bronze, topaz and aquamarine for their milestone achievement of 19 years as a local cooperative. Instead, bring money to buy objects at 19th Nervous Breakdown, an open house and artists' reception. Another way to contribute to the gallery? For the first time since opening, Eclectics has begun to offer public classes in such media as printmaking and fused glass. Other how-to workshops address steampunk pendants and felt food. The party goes from 5 to 8 p.m. For more information, see oureclecticlives.blogspot.com.— Berry Anderson
