The Book of Jiggle

And lo, a drear fog did descend upon the land. And Dora the Explorer was in reruns, and Grandma did embark on a Carnival cruise, and the prophesied second coming of Lightning McQueen was yet a fortnight hence. The Pokemon had lost its allure, and the Fruit Roll-Ups tasted bitterly of the sandbox. The children beseeched Mommy: "Have mercy, for this dullness tortures us!" And verily did Mommy say, "If thou hast boredom, I shall give thou something to do." Thence shone from the gleaming castle of Crown Center Square (2450 Grand, 816-274-8444) the brightness of merriment. In wonderment, the children did say, "Hark! 'Tis a jam that jiggles!" And so it was. Once yearly bestowed, the Jiggle Jam's two days of family gaiety on Saturday (9 a.m.-7 p.m.) and Sunday (10 a.m.-5 p.m.) encompass edifying activities, the assemblage of crafts, and the jollity of music performed by national entertainers of children. And thus the weekend's entirety was sweetened by the balm of amusement. See kcjigglejam.com or call 816-997-8511 for more information.
