The experience, not necessarily the food, is the draw in this basement-level (and incredibly dark) fondue restaurant. Yes, it is fun to gather in a group and chatter away while dipping chunks of tart apple, crisp celery or fresh bread into a metal pot of bubbling Gruyère or cheddar cheese. Diners who are feeling flush can treat the gang to the more time-consuming classic version of fondue, dunking — and slowly cooking — beef tenderloin, shrimp and teriyaki sirloin in a pot of boiling wine and herbs. The interactive-cooking game can seem like work after a while, but for a lively group with plenty of time and energy, its a tasty alternative to, say, dinner theater or a tailgate party. — Charles Ferruzza

Very good and VERY romantic. The vast majority of the seating at all melting pots is private, making it a great place to take a date. The cheese dips are amazing, as is the chocolate dessert. The staff always makes the experience pleasant, and its quite affordable. I recommend ordering an entree with a lot of seafood. This is because you cook your own entree in a broth, and at least for me, boiled meat is not something I want to pay a lot of money for.
