Who knew the wildest party to be had in Overland Park was in a sleepy little strip mall? The Roxy has long held a reputation for raucous nights, bringing JoCo weekend warriors live cover bands on Fridays and Saturdays. The club has upped the ante with regular events -- karaoke every Tuesday and Wednesday, Texas hold-´em games Saturday through Monday. The Roxy even boasts its very own stripper pole, where usually straight-laced chicks can pretend they’re Nomi Malone from Showgirls in front of approving, beer-guzzling former fratboys.

Almost 2008 guys - this bar has been the same since the 70's needs a new coat of paint - clean bathrooms and better food.

Being an old rocker (I was alive at the birth of rock 'n roll), I have seen and heard a lot of rock 'n roll. This cover band, Coldwater, is the best I've ever heard. Seen them 4 times and attending The Roxy on Cinque de Maio to see them again!

I was there last Friday to see my friend's band play. We were all having a great time, until the waitresses boy friend came up to us and told us not to talk to her etc. etc. The mood of our whole group changes in a very negative way.

It's not a good practice what so ever to have your waitresses' boy friend's present at the bar. I will never go here again.

I had a similar experience when the spiked haired guy who was sitting at the bar came up and told our group of guys not to talk to the waitress anymore. I'm sure he was the boy friend.
