Brickyard Tavern calls itself a professional drinking establishment, and thats hard to argue. Depending on the day, youll find neighborhood regulars competing in weekly dart and pool leagues, partiers rocking the checkerboard dance floor (complete with pole!) and dirt-cheap drinks. Maybe there are amateurs hiding somewhere in here, playing pool or throwing darts, but theres a level of confidence at the Brickyard Tavern that suggests that no ones here by accident. Theres a $10 annual membership fee the bar has a private-club liquor license but that means you can smoke inside, the way the old pros used to. Sundays are dedicated to NASCAR and football, and during the summer it's a gathering spot for area bikers.
