The Roxy has long held a reputation for raucous nights, bringing JoCo weekend warriors live cover bands on Fridays and Saturdays. The club has upped the ante with regular events -- karaoke every Tuesday and Wednesday, Texas hold-´em games Saturday through Monday. The Roxy even boasts its very own stripper pole, where usually straight-laced chicks can pretend they’re Nomi Malone from Showgirls in front of approving, beer-guzzling former fratboys.
