Generally appealing to anyone who likes cheap beer, Unwind Bar & Grille is open seven days a week and has all the usual bar accouterments, including Golden Tee, karaoke and cheeseburgers. North-of-the-river, just off of Highway 169, this sunny strip mall spot was home to other bars prior to its late 2009 opening. The regulars seem to enjoy the seven-day-a-week happy hour and don’t mind the fact that smoking isn’t allowed inside (the bar is just west of the smoker-friendly Gladstone bars). The best part about Unwind? It opens at 6 a.m. on Fridays, making it easy for people who want to start their weekend early or drink off Thursday night’s hangover.
