Tucked away in a strip mall on the south edge of Waldo is Walsh’s, a real townie joint with Natural Light and Busch Light on tap. There are lots of gewgaws and framed baseball pictures on the wall, scattered about the triangular room. The bar has an Irish feel to it, with help from green-beer swag and St. Patrick’s Day promotional items that stay up year round. The crowd is generally friendly and the beer is always cheap. Bonus: each bottle of beer comes with a small glass for sipping, old country-style.
