West No East

Four 20-something artists are featured in West No East, an exhibit curated by Russell Shoemaker that highlights the cultural connectivity of the past and the present, and both coasts. Featured KC artists are Luther Kroman, who paints pictures of games with references to abstract painters, and Clayton Skidmore, who explores language associations through videos and Golden Storybook paintings. Tonight’s opening reception is from 6 to 9. The exhibit runs through June 25.
Fri., June 3, 6-9 p.m.; June 4-26, 2011
