Smiling, he asks what's going on.

Cheri Clark tells him that they are commemorating the fourth anniversary of her nephew's murder, that chunks of Alex's skull and brain had sprayed on the sidewalk where the young man now stood.

Clark notices his tattoo.

"Would you still die for the Third Wall?" she asks.

"Always," he says, and walks away.
