Director Ron Megee has his fingers on the pulse of pop culture, and he isn't feeling anything ... because the stars of his new production,
Maul of the Dead, are zombies. Mitch Brian drew his inspiration for this tale of zombies taking over a mall in the year 1978 from the classic zombie flick
Dawn of the Dead. Coterie at Night's world premiere of
Maul of the Dead features 44 extras and a live score by guitarist Cody Wyoming. It runs tonight through Halloween at the Off Center Theater on the third floor of Crown Center (2450 Grand, 816-474-6552). Tickets cost $12. For show times, check
