No, by stepping into this suburban saloon, you won’t feel as if you were transported to a sultry getaway in the West Indies. But after a couple of Bahama Mama or Liquid Marijuana cocktails, the fried mozzarella sticks, nachos, chicken wings and hummus will seem a lot more exotic. The jerk chicken misses the mark, but the mango quesadillas, a steak smothered with bleu cheese, and a sandwich named after reggae legend Bob Marley are worth a trip to the pleasant, if not exactly tropical, town of Lee’s Summit. - Charles Ferruzza
