A typical night at the Bulldog means a mix of young urban professionals, older business types, suburbanites and hipsters. You're as likely to get into a drunken conversation with a cabbie as you are to find a fashionable Johnson County couple hitting you up for a smoke. The front room is larger, more formal and dining- oriented, while the back room is more laid-back and casual. Servers are chatty and attentive without intruding on patrons' pesonal space, and the drink options are diverse - order a froufrou cocktail from the signature drink menu or get a sippin' scotch or keep it real with a PBR bottle. Chow is served until 11 p.m. and live music is featured Tuesday through Saturday.

great spot downtown, one of the better happy hours you will find -
I got two words for you -- mini burgers -
The Bulldog is next door to The Pitch, so I like to get lunch there. I love love love the big honkin' cheeseburger.
