Country Keepsakes Tea Room

501 Main
Belton, MO 64012
816-348-7888
For many years, Bev Bruce operated this quaint little restaurant in Grandview but moved farther south to downtown Belton several years ago. There’s tea on the menu, of course (and a limited selection of wine and beer), but the real draw is Bruce’s solid home cooking: homemade bread and desserts; excellent soups; and the kind of dishes one rarely sees on modern menus, such as pot roast and tuna casserole. A getaway to have lunch here makes an interesting day trip - who knew Belton had a downtown? - Charles Ferruzza
