Restaurateur Lee Chai took a neglected – and hard-to-find – storefront space in Overland Park’s Rosana Square shopping center and turned it into an intimate, sexy and satisfying Thai restaurant (though the focus is less on the décor, more on the food). Featured dishes include excellent, fragrant soups, the rum-marinated Siam Chicken, a lightly-seared salmon dappled in a pineapple curry sauce and a dessert that mixes East and West in a most unlikely fashion: chocolate mousse rangoons. - Charles Ferruzza
