This chain is attempting the impossible -- it wants to be both a quaint, upscale pub chock-full of character and a clubby sports bar. However, any venue covered wall-to-wall in flat-screen monitors depicting sports events while a loud rock-rap-dance mix emanates from a gross array of speakers kind of shoots itself in the foot when it comes to the ye-olde-pub vibe. If drinking beer while watching sports, music videos and cute waitresses is you thing, though, this is your bar. A game room features every bar game ever invented and the food portions are enormous and reasonably priced. Speaking of which, the Fox and Hound did get one pub feature right -- the fish and chips are delicous.
