Formerly known as Bobby’s Hangout, this bar is under different ownership these days. The name has slimmed down, but many of the distinct urban qualities that the original Bobby’s was known for have remained – it’s still a smoky lounge with a huge print of Bobby Seal hanging on the wall amid a lush red décor. This place has an old-school Harlem vibe, though now only the bottom floor keeps it real – the newly opened top floor is a bump-and-grind DJ bar, complete with a wilder crowd.
