Oh, Yes, She Did

For those of you who missed it, Kansas was well represented in reality-TV-land last night on the premiere of The Bachelor: Officer and a Gentleman. Of course, "well represented" in reality TV translates to full-blown freak show.

Lindsay, a 22-year-old college student from Lawrence, covered enough territory to brand herself into a punch line in just one episode.

While vying for the attention of love of hunky 30-year-old Navy lieutenant, surgeon and triathlete Andy Baldwin, Lindsay drank heavily and picked a fight with a chick from Alabama who she thought was trash-talking her. Then she got her “oh-no-you-didn't” face on after she wasn't offered the first of 15 roses in the traditional get-the-f-out rose ceremony. That look grew to an outrageous scowl by the time she was passed over for an additional 14 flowers. In the end, she stormed out of the rose ceremony. Then she bad-mouthed Baldwin by saying his head was too big for his body and he was interested only in fake-looking chicks.

In her final act before being ousted, Lindsay shouted tearfully that she was proud to be a bitch and now wanted to go home. Perhaps finding true love in a game show that’s in its umpteenth rendition isn’t all that rad of an idea.

You could tell she was a bitch when the show first came on. If he would have picked her i would have not watched the rest of the shows
