I believe that you are not guilty by reason of temporary insanity. I also don't think life in prison is an appropriate punishment and way for you to seek help and treatment. There are mountains of evidence (DNA) including semen, skin, pubic hair, blood, and saliva with a 99.98% match to Edwin Hall and Kelsey Smith... there is no possible way this animal will beat the system. Likely, this pig will plead-out and take life in prison with no possibility of parole before trial begins. It's either that or risk execution... and that scum is not man enough to face eternity in hell... yet.

I don't believe that Edwin R. Hall is under circumstantial evidence, here. He wouldn't be staring at Capital Punishment if there weren't forensic evidence to lead to his guilt in the matter. Let's be smart, people. The judicial system may be a little quirked, but it's not going to let a abductor/rapist/murderer run around while an innocent man sits in jail.
Why don't all of you let the cops, FBI, law inforcement and eventually the judicial system do their jobs and quit armchair quarterbacking. If you don't trust them or don't like how they do their jobs, then get off of your butts and go to school to do it.

I don't live in US but I've read much about Kelsey Smith case so there are few things I've noticed.
In my opinion, the guy that CCTV caught doesn't even look like Edwin Hall. It's so fucking blurry that I wouldn't recognize the person I know, not the mention this guy.
The easiest thing in the world is to catch the first guy and make you all feel safe. Whether he's guilty or not is less important.

I don't know Hall's wife or son, but I have enough sense to know that they were innocent victims, too. How will that woman ever tell her son why his father is in prison? Steve Huff has posted that this is the Yahoo profile of Edwin Hall. Hall is the accused in the murder of Kelsey Smith. There are a couple of user names on the profile. The first one is captn_666_howdy which is a reference to Captain Howdy which in itself can be two different things. The first one is the white faced demon seen very briefly and shockingly in the Exorcist. The second reference is to the movie Strangeland where Dee Snider plays the role of Captain Howdy, a serial killer who lures girls from the internet. The other name he references is Dr. Giggles which is a bad early 90�s slasher flick.
All this could mean is that he�s just a horror movie fan. Or he fashions himself as some sort of serial killer. Me? I�m going with the serial killer bit.

Saving judgement for alleged wrong doers is an important part of our American history, even if it often doesn't seem to be active in the American present. But no one should make the mistake of assuming Edwin Hall's innocence; take it from someone who has had the misfortune of crossing paths with him. He's manipulative and I'm deeply sorry for his wife & son, who surely (other than Kelsey, obviously) are the biggest victims here.
And Tom, there certainly could be more focus on mental health--in Kansas City & nationally--as a means to prevent. But don't forget about the people who are plain and simply evil. There is no program for them, there is no way to monitor when and where they will strike. Thanks to the KC police force, Edwin Hall was caught almost as soon as his crime was committed, i.e. before he could hurt someone else. Mark my words, Kelsey was not Edwin's first victim...sadly he's been hurting people in one way or another his whole life.
