The Royals: Hitless Since 1989

Gil Meche, the lone Royal named to the 2007 All Star Game, did not appear in last night's contest. Meche's absence from the box score is just the latest in a long line of inconsequential or unfortunate appearances by Royals players in the midsummer classic.
