I’m a lifelong aficionado of the art of the entertainment lede -- and anything else that causes the buildup of neurodegenerative amyloid plaque in the frontal cortex. So when a comedian named Earthquake comes to Kansas City, it gives me the opportunity to produce sentences such as “Seismologists predict Earthquake will register a 9.0 – on the funny scale!” Or “Earthquake comes to Kansas City; kills hundreds!” At any rate, Earthquake, who was born Nathaniel Stroman and who is the subject of the shortest entry on Wikipedia, plays the Improv at the Majestic (7430 Northwest 87th Street) tonight.
