The Chiefs released computer renderings of the new Arrowhead Stadium today. From seat level, the stadium appears largely unchanged. But the exterior looks wrapped in Jetsons-style chrome and glass:
The entrance will be lorded over by the deck of a Star Destroyer:
The ticket windows will look like news stands of the future:
Inside the concourses, there's fancy bars that look a bit like the George Brett's Restaurant:
If you know somebody who can snag their company's club seats, you'll have access to the team's new bathroom attendants (seriously, read the amenities on the right):
Minor criticisms aside, the photos do make the place look like a whole lot more modern of a venue to scream "You, you, you!" at the Broncos. -- Eric Barton

Midwesterners will sit on bleachers and watch anything! David Glass knows this, whoever owns the Cheaps knows this- and they keep the teams mediocre for the fans. They'll drop thousands for any quality of play. What's the point in winning?
You know, in spite of the fact that Americans spend too much time and money on watching sports and not participating (notice their overall size), who really cares? It's a freakin' stadium folks.
The Chiefs are going to stuff it down your throats whether you like it or not.
Give it up and go do something with your lives. Oh... don't forget to get rid of the house in O.P. and the SUV too.
Damn I'm glad I left K.C.!
I thought we were getting a stadium cover? Oh well, bye bye Super Bowl.
Don't put money into 30-40year old bulding that in 5-10yrs you will be building a new anyway. Build the new now at todays prices and let it go.
