Despite all the bad press, there are still those who want to be Britney Believers. Like Spencer Brown. The young actor (now working it in the Unicorn’s La Cage Aux Folles) is better known around local cabaret circles as the deliciously cute-but-vacant Daisy Bucket (pronounced bouquet). Daisy plans to respond to Brit’s performance tonight (starting around 10) at the Flo Show at Missie B’s. “I’ve seen drag queens lip sync better than that,” Daisy says, and tonight she’s going to prove it.
What can we expect? “I always sing live, so I’m also dubbing my voice into the track so I’ll be lip-synching myself. But I will NOT be wearing a bikini, that’s for sure.”
She tells us Britney’s Sunday display wasn’t all that different from previous VMA gigs, like that one with the snake, or the time she wore the see-through outfit and, finally, the makeout session with Madonna. “It was Britney how she’s always been,” Daisy says. “It was less-than-spectacular because she didn’t have anything to work with. No snake. No Madonna. She came out announcing her comeback in a bikini. That’s not gonna work. You gotta give a performance like it’s your final night. Well, that was her final night in my eyes.”
Daisy Bucket, however, probably has a long and fruitful career ahead of her. – Megan Metzger

I don't think that I've ever seen Daisy lip sync before. I hope she doesn't forget her words. I hope she acts like she cares. I hope this broadens her fan base. And finally, I hope she wears a bikini and pokes that beer belly out.
Break a leg Daisy. Britney didn't set the bar too high so don't screw it up!
