I love KCTV 5. I cannot think of another Kansas City TV station that would have run this clip about murdered Sun Fresh employee Joseph Bussell.
This video is why your mother told you to wear clean underwear – and never to stick raw meat into your pants. If this is a serial killer’s calling card, it’s by far the creepiest ever.
But what's really worth noting is KCTV’s crack, man-on-the-street reporting. This was first pointed out by a Concerned Citizen, who noted in the comments section of Tuesday’s Daily Briefs that this video ends with Sun Fresh customer Sev Gagliardi warning that there’s a “vicious mutant” on the loose in Westport!
“Disgusting,” Gagliardi told KCTV 5. “Guy works here, probably an older guy, attacked by a vicious mutant. I’m horrified.”
Sev, I’m horrified, too. Be on the lookout for alien, Sabretooth and ninja turtles.

I've known Sev Gagliardi for over 20 years and if he says the guy is a vicious mutant then he probably is. That guy has always been a great judge of character. Especially among the fellers in Carlton Park back in '88.

I'm writing from Alaska regarding my brother Sev and his comments. He's not just my brother, he's an intelligent, funny person. We come from a family of Italian New Yorkers. We speak bluntly but honestly and we know the world is full of scum bags. We only wish we could savagely murder them and place their small undersized brain and head on a post at every storefront.
People who live in every urban area should be able to carry a .38 revolver and be trained how to use it also a criminal backgroud checkshould also be allowed to freely and openly hang a small can of mace in our pockets or tucked into our belt. no one has the right to take another life unless it's a kill or be killed situation. If this poor victim-his family is probably grieving tremendously and it has changed their life forever. They have lost a husband and a Father most like likely.
I thought my brothers article was vwery funny and well said. He's right the guy is a mutant vicious moron who shouldn't walk among decent people. I think he should get the death penalty or placed in prison with no chance of parole . He will kill again at his convenience to support his nasty drug habits. God made us all in His image but it's up to ud how we treat that free choice He also gave us.
I have every confidence that he will be caught and I hope the police have to kill him to capture him. I know they do the best they cand but have to protect their case so theuy have a sturdy case so the prosecutor and the judge will allow it to be tried. I still find it hard to believe that such a...a...a..an animal is roaming loose and all the news stations can do is garner sensational quotes from uninformed concerned citizens. Why, I never...oh...never mind.
