Last night, a good-sized crowd gathered at Johnny’s Tavern in Prairie Village to watch The Bachelorette. Ron Mayer, the KC guy who’s on the show, was the guest of honor. His TV performance inspired cheers from the mostly female crowd – as did his final words of wisdom (spoiler alert!): “I didn’t get rejected. She just chose other guys.” And: “Sometimes a tree gets knocked down before it gets to bear fruit.”

I liked Ron...but I knew she'd go for the "prettier" types. So glad she got rid of Graham. Nothing attractive there
