I spotted Lyndzi and Cristina outside One 80 Lounge on a recent Tuesday because, um, they were impossible to miss. Sparkles radiated from their tops and shoes like they were dressed for an 80’s party – as the disco ball.

They swear up and down that they didn’t call each other about their outfits before going out. “We weren’t really planning,” Lyndzi says. “I moved here today, actually, and this was what was on top in my suitcase. I’m serious.”

Cristina adds, “I dress like this every day. I spend a thousand dollars a week at Bebe, Guess, and Express. This guy told me one time, ‘That shirt is like networking. It’s how you draw attention to yourself.’”

Speaking of guys, they were pretty much falling all over themselves and lining up on the corner to gawk at Lyndzi and Cristina as we chatted. I guess it’s not just girls that are attracted by shiny things.

“We’re just trying to look classy!” says Lyndzi.
