Here's the YouTube video featuring a mooning Fort Hays debate prof that is making rounds on the Internet:

The tag on the entry reads: "In the quarterfinal of 2008 CEDA Nationals, the RFD erupts into a heated exchange of words between Pittsburgh coach Shanara Reid and Fort Hays coach William Shanahan."

Fort Hays' spokespeople say that the incident is "under investigation."

thanks for sharing. i needed my daily dose of crazy. the mooning was classic, but i really enjoyed the dreaded hippy pony tail head flip he performed before that.

You learn all kinds of things in college, including, apparently, how to behave inappropriately. And that footwear is optional.

Here's what the Star reported:

(Larry Gould is the chief academic officer at Ft. Hays, and Reid-Brinkley is the woman arguing with Shanahan.)

"Gould said the argument between the professors began after Fort Hays debaters eliminated two judges, including Reid-Brinkley, because both judges had given the team low scores in the past. Gould said Reid-Brinkley accuses the team of eliminating her because she is black."

I was expecting this to be funny when i first saw it. I mean, there's mooning right?

But it's really kind of depressing/upsetting, particularly because no one provides much context for the argument.
