Somewhere near a hundred lowriders showed up on Sunday for the first-ever Wild West Showdown, a block party in the West Bottoms held by Union Press screen printers. Three local cars took home trophies in highest hop contests.
Union Press owner Zach Lovely says the winners came from three local car clubs: Down IV Life, Street Style and Majestics.
"It was cool, because we had three categories and one guy from each of the car clubs was represented in each one," Lovely says.
