Pirates spread the message that "God Hates Shrimp."
The pirates of Little Rock stole Fred Phelps' Westboro Baptist Church's thunder last Friday. The Topeka church was protesting the National Conference of Editorial Writers because they are "responsible for the satanic milieu in this evil land" and for assisting the "satanic agendas" of "baby-killers and fags."
But in a fortuitous twist, the protest happened to fall on International Talk Like a Pirate Day.
Swashbuckling Flying Spaghetti Monster worshipping Central Arkansas Pastafarians decided to join the counter protest in full pirate gear.
The Arkansas Times gave this account:
Yep, the cuckoo Phelps hate group walked the plank this morning after a happy bunch dressed like pirates and holding signs saying "God hates shrimp -- Leviticus" and "God hates cotton-polyester blends" stood opposite them at the corner of Markham and Scott streets. The group, made up of Central Arkansas Pastafarians, waved swords and growled "Arrghh!" in a manner that would have made Abbie Hoffman proud.
"They didn't know what to do," a pirate named Boatswain (aka Gerry Schulze) tells The Pitch. "We decided that the best way to handle them was ridicule. They had not earned our hatred, only our ridicule and perhaps our contempt."

I don't live anywhere near Kansas, (I live in Utah), but anyone who will go out and protest against the message of hypocrisy and hate, AND do it in pirate garb, has a big bunch of Kudos from me!
Recently one of my friends started an obsession with the actor Nicholas Cage (mostly because their names are both Nicholas - sounds strange but he is strange and that isn't the point). After asking around the rest of my friends he seems to be a very controversial figure.
What does the forum think? do you love the all action superhero? Or do you hate the droning voice of the man who does nothing but action shooters?
Yeah I highly doubt Shirley Phelps replied to this, let alone typed the words 'that's how we roll' because she probably doesn't even get it. So you quit that lying.

Why isn't he picketing the fish markets for selling the "abomination" known as shell fish... ?? What's wrong with this knuckle dragging, crack addicted troglodyte ??? I have to say I came to look up his name on google because I thought that I had heard he died... sadly... it seems as though he hasn't yet... thank God he's aging so rapidly... it's only a matter of time before he gets to learn the truth about judgement day...
