"Bail out the homeless!" Anne Pritchett bellowed into a bullhorn. "Bail out the uninsured!"

While politicians scrambled last night to assemble a $700 billion package to rescue financial institutions and avert a threatened economic meltdown, demonstrators at the intersection of Blue Parkway and Cleveland Avenue hoisted placards and told evening commuters to oppose putting taxpayer money into the hands of mismanaged corporations.

"They're pushing us to do this without any thought," protester Rebecca Brock said of the proposed bailout. "It just sounds like bullshit to me."

"It's a classic example of disaster capitalism," said Doug Greer, who doesn't want the government sticking taxpayers with the bill for the financial sector's self-inflicted problems.

"My grandkids don't need to be paying for this," said Paul Rola, while holding a homemade, over-sized check made out to "Paulson's Pillagers."

As correct as you are, you forgot to mention, both the Demos and Repubs are perpetrating this.

Paulson and Bush and thugs are laughing all the way to the bank while taxpayers foot the bill and one million more Americans lose their homes in the next six months.
This is another crisis to set up the American people, and fleecing whats left of our Treasury, and stealing our Democracy which will lead to further repression.
These predatory sons of bitchs should be in jail, but, our corrupt media is lying thru their teeth, and pushing this robbery against the people.
Fight back before it is to late!

Non-thought-out-bail-outs are what happens when GW Bush plays Democrat and tries to give welfare to Wall Street. Even the hobos can figure this out, so why cant Washington?

Since both Obama and McCain were at the helm for this crisis, isnt letting them try to fix it sort of like asking them to unsuck a dick?

Maybe it is just me, but snapping to a decision on the largest bail out in history just seems to be a bad ideamade worse by allowing those that caused it to try and fix it.
