It's a Christmas miracle! Kansas City Chiefs General Manager Carl Peterson has resigned! Actual quote from Peterson's announcement: "Most importantly, I want to thank Chiefs fans around the country for their passionate support through the years." Which years were those? -- Justin Kendall

Trevor, that was cold. Will you cash my severance check?

Excellent as in I-me-me-mine. C'mon the guy made money by offering to show you the egress for $10 and people lined up to pay it. Shit, he makes Donald Trump look like a fraud. Oh wait, The Trump is a fraud.

*places shoes where the sun don't shine on the Trevor*

First of all, WOOT!!! I can actually buy Chiefs gear at the end of the season! HURAH!! I have been waiting for 14 years (i.e. since I moved to KC) for this!!

And Orphan of the Road, your claim that Carl was excellent at anything, without question, completely and thoroughly eliminates any credibility you ever, or will ever have.

In fact, I accuse you of actually BEING Carl Peterson posting under a nom de plume attempting to salvage an iota of compassion from the masses. So, Orphan of the Peterson, I say to thee, BE GONE! Ye shall not get any compassion! You are hereby banished to millionaire-severance-package-ville! *starts to throw shoes*

Carl's running of the business side was excellent. The Chiefs made lots of money and were able to get local government to fund all their needs.

On the football side, not so much. His shinning moment was bringing Mary to town. But then he brought in washed up thugs like Bam Morris and Andre' Rison. He ran great players like John Tait out of town. Carl's ego would fill several tractor trailers.

If the Chiefs fill this vacancy from internal candidates, they will be no different. They will still be three-years-away from being three-years-away.

A new broom should sweep clean...
