I didn't make it to Wichita today -- commitments kept me here at headquarters (sorry, Brian). So I've had to follow Wichita Eagle reporter/Tweeter Ron Sylvester's coverage. Sylvester didn't disappoint last time, and he's giving up the juicy info as it happens this time, too.
About a half hour ago, Phill Kline finally left the stand after testifying all day. Now, Morrison's mistress, Linda Carter, has emerged from seclusion to take the stand.
So far it sounds like defense attorneys for Wichita abortion doctor George Tiller want a copy of Kline's diary. Oh my dear diary God.
Kline sounds like Alberto Gonzales. "Kline answers 'I do not recall' 10 times in the first 2 minutes of testimony," Sylvester Tweeted earlier this morning.
Here are some more highlights from Sylvester's Twitter:
political enemy. He defeated me in an election. It happens once every 4
to 8 years in this country."
judge if he had copies of Tiller's files, Kline said he had 3, when he
actually had more than 60.
