If the World Wide Leader says it, then it must be true. NFL sources tell ESPN's Michael Smith that the Kansas City Chiefs have hired Scott Pioli as the franchise's new general manager. Pioli was the New England Patriots vice president of player personnel and Tom Brady's personal masseuse. OK, one of those is true.
ESPN says Pioli was seen cleaning out his office today. Another guy who should probably pack his office is Herm Edwards. ESPN says he's "likely" gone.
