The Ad Hoc Group Against Crime will hold the year's first vigil for a homicide victim tonight at 5. The family and friends of Richard Revels (pictured) and community members will meet at the site of his murder -- Linwood Boulevard and Walrond Avenue. The public is invited to what unfortunately won't be the last vigil for a murder victim this year. -- Justin Kendall

His obituary was beautiful. He was also in the Call Paper. All of the photo's were better then what these A holes put up as well as what they wrote.

The photo is a previous mugshot that the police released.

Is the photo of the victim post mortem? Seems a little odd. I hope there's a better photo of the young man for the funeral ceremony that honors his life.

Well, now, let's be honest. Some folks also write comments or blog about it.

It's sad that lighting candles is the only reaction we get when kids get killed in this city.

It's almost as if you light the candle and then just move on like nothing happened.
