Organizers announced over the weekend that this year's St. Patrick's Day parade is moving. Erin Kiekbusch, co-chairwoman of the St. Patrick's parade committee, said the parade will start on Broadway at 33rd Street and go south 10 blocks, well, away from downtown. This is the first time the event has strayed from downtown since its 1974 inception.
