Yesterday, KSHB's gravely voiced sports anchor, Jack Harry, reported that former Denver Broncos coach Mike Shanahan might be sending Herm Edwards to the unemployment line as soon as tomorrow.
NFL.com's Adam Schefter murdered the rumor.
"As of mid-day Thursday, the Chiefs and Shanahan haven't had any contact," Schefter wrote. "None. Zero. Zip. Nada."
Meanwhile, Edwards twists in the hot air.

I have been a Broncos fan for a long time. I think it was criminal to fire Shanahan, and I hope a team in the division DOES hire him. It would serve the Broncos right to have to play against him. It's not all Shanahan's fault that they haven't been to the playoffs. One man does not a team make. I hope the Broncos remember that when their season sucks again!!!

Broncos fans DO NOT want him in the division.
He's a good coach, and my opinion is, he was horrible at evaluating defensive talent....but he brings ALOT to the offensive side of the ball, noboy game plans better than Shanahan. KC would be lucky to get him.
Scott Pioli has a proven track record at personnel decisions, if Shanny lets the Defensive Coordinator handle the defense...(maybe John Gruden!! might as well start crazy rumors since everyone else is....maybe Tony Dungy??, Bill Cowher?...LOL) the Chiefs will be scary good in a few years. and I HATE the CHIEFS!!!
