It rhymes with smushmortion.
Last Friday, Phill Kline weighed in on President Barack Obama with his first blog entry at Stand With Truth.
Kline, now a professor at Jerry Falwell's Liberty University, says it's fitting that Obama was sworn in with the same bible as Abraham Lincoln. Of course, Kline is comparing abortion to slavery. He notes that Obama didn't mention "abortion" in his inaugural address and likens it to President Franklin Pierce ignoring slavery in his address.
"On abortion, politician Obama has survived through political
calculation, deception and with gratitude to a self-indulgent culture
full of distraction and willful ignorance," Kline wrote. "And his
first actions have been aggressively opposed to this significant civil
rights issue. Yet, President Obama will not escape the judgment of
history."
Yes, history won't judge the success of Obama's presidency on the
economy or wars in Iraq and Afghanistan but on "whether he leads us to
the fullness of the dream -- that every human being will be valued in
this nation with just and righteous laws that protect the right to
live."
If Obama ends abortion, then Obama has Kline's permission "to be sworn
in to his second term of office, with his right hand on the Bible President Lincoln used in his second swearing in ceremony." It's the
Bible Lincoln used after he abolished slavery.
At least in his new job, Kline no longer has to pretend that he cares about any subject other than abortion.

Anyone who labels someone obviously concerned with the wholesale slaughter of helpless infants, many times illegally and certainly immorally, as "wingnut" will be regarded by me as cold, callous and selfish.
Phill Kline seems to worry the hell out of pro-choice people, even after he has left town. Interesting!

Yeah, but don't you think his students are going to feel a bit short-changed when they discover that outside of wingnut welfare, there's not a whole lot of call for attorneys who specialize in abortion?
