featured pairs of ghostly white combat boots, displaying in stark imagery the 48 soldiers from Kansas and Missouri who committed suicide after serving in the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts.
is expected to announce later today that this disturbing trend is only worsening.
are reporting that the Army will confirm another increase in soldier suicide rates in 2008. CNN
says 128 soldiers killed themselves last year and another 15 cases are under review. That's up from 115 confirmed suicides in 2007.
