The Source starts counting down the days until The Kansas City Star's
parent company, McClatchy, is de-listed by the New York Stock Exchange.
If McClatchy's stock stays under a $1 -- it closed at $.69 yesterday --
for 30 consecutive days, the newspaper conglomerate will have to submit
a plan for getting the price over a buck. Only 17 days to go.
Down the Byline gives an update on Bannister Mall's demolition. So does Capt. Spaulding. Nice update on the destruction.
After the jump, I explain the differences between Iowa and Iowa State to Tony Gonzalez.
I read Tony Gonzalez's pissy comments from the Pro Bowl about whether he wants to stay in Kansas City. It all came out as wha, wha, wha. Except for this quote:
ITony, want to see who they name as head coach. Yeah, I hear they're talking
to Todd Haley, but then there's this coach [Kirk Ferentz] from Iowa
State, some [expletive] like that and I don't want to deal with that.
I don't care if you want out of KC. Pack your bags. See ya. I don't
even care that you refuse to play for a college coach. But let me clear
this up for you, Tony. Ferentz doesn't coach Iowa State. He coaches Iowa. Let me help.
Iowa.

Wow, Plogland arguing English is oddly entertaining. Almost as entertaining as Mississippi boy literally kissing the ass of everyone in Ohio and Iowa (and several other states) every time he sips water from his river.
There are too many states. Please eliminate two.
Mississippi has too many syllables, I say we get rid of it. A person ought to be able to pronounce where he's from, drunk or sober. MS clearly fails this test.
