Chris Koster, Missouri's new attorney general, has a reputation for vanity. And now that he holds statewide office, the former Cass County prosecutor is making sure that his beauty and steely-eyed determination get the attention they deserve.
The attorney general's official Web site features rotating images of Koster that are 18 percent larger than those of Barack Obama on the (hardly modest) White House front page. The main image on the A.G. site is 2.6 million square pixels. The Obama centerpiece is a mere 2.2 million square pixels.
The A.G. site shows the ginger-haired lawman walking in an inaugural parade, addressing grateful supporters and manfully standing underneath the nose of a stealth bomber.
Visitors to the site may also gaze upon a smaller image of Koster taking the oath. Wrongdoers, beware!
