Over the weekend, the Kansas City police identified two men killed Friday morning outside of Gerry's Silver Slipper. Police found Drell D. Fisher and Reginald L. Barnes shot to death in the parking lot outside the strip club. Both are 33-years-old and from Kansas City, Kansas. The police nabbed one suspect who was holding a gun and ran when police arrived at the scene. But they're still looking for a second black male suspect.
KCTV-5 interviewed Steve Wille, owner of Gerry's Silver Slipper. Despite the stabbing of three men in late January and this shooting, Wille says his strip club is getting a bad rap.
Also, police are waiting for the medical examiner to positively identify two bodies found shot to death in a parking lot at 18th and Paseo on Friday afternoon. The Kansas City Star spoke with relatives at the scene who identified the pair as 19-year-old Erin R. Williamson and her 17-year-old boyfriend Aaron L. Benton.
