We should never drink and drive, but I still like to know where checkpoints
will be in Orange County, San Diego, and LA. I may use calcheckpoint
(www.twitter.com/calcheckpoint) to find out where they are.

Oh thats to bad they only nabbed less than 2% or about 12 people. Not as much revenue as I am sure they would have liked. But thats still over $60,000 in attorney fees, fines, court cost, and of course evaluations that are total BS.
Seriously? That used to be very near ground zero, in terms of location and time, for bar hoppers and partiers. I suspect the police need to have their breathalyzers calibrated, or that all the drunk drivers just detoured via Broadway, or that Midtown/Westport is no longer a destination or even a waypoint any more. Maybe they'd have better success nearer the PL District instead?
What a colossal waste of time and energy by the cops.
How many burglaries, sexual assaults and murders occurred around the city during this time period?
