KMBC Channel 9's Jim Flink was looking for love online. He had to settle for a scoop. Flink discovered the dating profile of Shon Pernice, whose wife, Renee Pernice, disappeared in January and is thought to be dead.
Flink found Pernice's dating profile on Plenty of Fish. Hey, it's been almost two months.
Surprisingly, Shon listed himself as divorced. I guess "it's complicated" wasn't a choice. Pernice wrote that he was seeking a "life partner" and mentioned his service in Iraq and his two young sons.
Shon Pernice's quest to leave the lonely-hearts club is apparently over thanks to cock-blocking Jim Flink. After Flink confronted Shon Pernice about his dating profile, Pernice closed his account.

I thought the same thing when I read that about razzyboy! It's gotta be Shon... Renee's family just doesn't seem like the type to mess w/ such a stupid thing...I hope he didn't find anyone to share "forever" with...seeing as he will have plenty of choices in prison!
RazzyBoy,you must be joking or you are Shon or a friend of Shon's (assuming he has one). Who else but Shon would have all those pictures of him in his military he-man get-up?
How do we know it was Shon Pernice who had the profile on the website or that it was he who removed it? I would not put it past her family to do this to try and move the police along in charging him. Also, if he did do it, was it done when they were having trouble or after her disappearance?
Who found it? Was it really Jim Flinck?
