I dread the day when Bode "Baby Mangino" is grown up. I'm not even a KU fan, but I like the chubby little guy. KU Sports has a great, "gassy" profile of Deadspin's Sports Human of the Year. I hope some day Angie Lubber, Baby Mangino's mom, gets her wish: a meeting between KU football coach Mark Mangino and her eight-month-old son.
"We just need somebody to set us up with Coach Mangino," Angie said. ... "After all," she said, wiping a stream of slobber from Bode's chin, "He's not going to look like Mark Mangino forever."
Make it happen, KU! And show me the picture.
