Kansas City Police responded to a shooting in the 4400 block of Scarritt
Avenue last night, but the shooting victim had
left the scene.
Detectives talked with a couple of witnesses at the scene, and then started canvassing the area for the man -- a black man in his mid-20s. They found him shot to death in a vehicle at 305 Maple St.

It is a shame that this person made a choice to invade a neighborhood, shoot at homeowners, causing a neighborhood to quiver in fear. I am sure he never thought someone would stand up and shoot back! Chicken-S&^% ran like cowards.
A school across the street meant nothing to these thugs. It is obvious to me they were intent on robbing, stealing or taking a life. What the hell was this man doing in Missouri? His violent history speaks for itself. I am one of many people who think he got what he deserved. The so-called "friend" who ran and left this crook to die in the car is nothing but a coward. A punk.
