405 co-creator is back with sweet sci-fi short

When you love a woman, you want to give her the world. That's what I took away from Bruce Branit's 9-minute sci-fi short World Builder. Branit wrote on Vimeo that the short sat dormant for about a year before going viral about a week ago.

The video description says:

A strange man builds a world using holographic tools for the woman he loves.

This award winning short was created by filmmaker Bruce Branit, widely

known as the co-creator of '405.' World Builder was shot in a single

day followed by about 2 years of post production.

Nine years ago, Branit and Jeremy Hunt blew up the Internet with 405, an amazing three-minute short about a DC-10 landing the Los Angeles freeway ... using a Jeep Cherokee as its front wheel.

World Builder
isn't an intense thrill ride like 405, but the effects are gorgeous and the story heartbreaking.
